Refund policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

The short version

If a guide is not right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to explain why, and you may keep the files.

How to request a refund

Email support@plainlypress.com from the address you used at checkout, or include your order receipt. Tell us you would like a refund. That is all we need.

We aim to reply within one business day and to process the refund on the same day we reply. Once processed, the money returns to your original payment method. How quickly it appears on your statement is up to your bank, and usually takes 5 to 10 business days.

Who processes the refund

Our digital guides are sold through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for these transactions. Your card statement will show LINK.COM* PLAINLY PRESS. You can request a refund either from us directly or through Link support, and either route reaches the same place.

Why we do it this way

A digital file cannot be returned, so a refund policy on a PDF is a matter of trust rather than logistics. We would rather give the money back to someone the guide did not suit than have them feel stuck with it. If you find the guide useful, keep it and tell another parent about it. That is the whole arrangement.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please email us before contacting your bank. A chargeback takes weeks to resolve and costs us a fee regardless of the outcome, whereas an email usually sorts it out the same day. We have never refused a refund request.

The Essentials Pack and anything else we give away are free, so there is nothing to refund. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
